MAY 5 is NATIONAL CARTOONIST'S DAY
(SAN SIMEON) Noting the final capture and trial of Sadam Hussein,
local toon-guy, Joe King, invites vigilant citizens to celebrate
a "grand old necktie party" to be held at his online comic gallery, THE FUNNY PAPERZ.
"Can you remind me -- does the noose use a single or double windsor?"
The Author/Artist is "making the world a funnier place" via his website
but you can read his scribbles any time in the pages of the Bay News, Cayucos Breeze,
Santa Monica Daily Press and the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists.
With several of his many creations enjoying Internet syndication,
the 2004 Pulitzer Prize Nominee is currently being laughed at in more than 19 countries.
His newest title, "A NEW TOON IN TOWN" focuses on local issues, concerns and quality of life.
