Has sucessfully launched DOZENS of Lompoc, CA editions of THE FUNNY PAPERZ! |
Bill adapted the KIT to include other Cartoonists and turn it into a self-mailer. |
Bill cut to the chase and found a single sponsor to pay for the ads in this edition. Nice
work Dr. Draw! |

Dr. Draw says: "I can't keep these paperz in stock!" |

Barry & Brian have put a new spin on self publishing -- |
They sent me his excellent BYO Syndicate-type comic newsletter:
It's really very good and I recommend it to everyone.
Our own templates are based on (2) 11"x17" stock sheets printed both sides and
folded in half to provide (8) 8.5"x11" pages of comics.
Barry's paper is a single 11"x17" stock sheet folded in thirds and then halfed once more to produce (6) 5.5"x11"
pages of comics. |
Each page contains at least (6) comics on different themes/formats.
"Two-Fisted Tales From Palookaville" is a definite winner and
whether or not you are interested in Self-Publishing your own strips, contributing to a fanzine like this or The GAG FACTOR, or just enjoying quality work -- you owe it to yourself as a Cartoonist to give this a good
read. |
