THIS JUST IN: "DEAR COMMANDER..."

Hi Joe (Commander Page Turner),

I was looking through the many pictures of my granddaughter when I came
across these taken about 2 years ago when you entertained us at the Paso
Robles Library. I hope you enjoy them. We both had such a great time.
Lea still has your book and the picture she drew with the help of your
exceptional instructions. I sure hope Lea and her little brother, Kyle, and
I can catch up with you again soon.

IN THE NEWS: "JOE COOL HOSTS JOE KING"

One of the "crown jewels" of our coporate portfolio is the original work we did on the PEANUTS GANG for "Sparky" before he was called home... Now we are invited to be the August ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, CA.

IN THE NEWS: DEL MAR ELEMENTARY ESTABLISHES "NO SMOKING ZONE!"

THANK YOU! to the entire Estero Bay Youth Coalition for inviting me to help them design their "No Smoking Zone"

THANK YOU PRINCIPAL JANET GOULD AND DEL MAR ELEMENTARY FOR HOSTING OUR LATEST CLASS LESSONS WITH A GRANT FROM THE ROATARY CLUB!

banner at Del Mar Park. The project involved a joint brainstorming session with all the kids as well as portrait-style "caricature sittings" of each student. All 19 students appear in the final image above their own scanned signatures! Way to go guys!

IN THE NEWS: "GO! GO! GO! ASTRO BOY!"

Here are a few souvineer snapshots we brought back from this very important exhibit at San Francisco's Asian Art Museum last summer...

Currently enjoying a renaissance among fans of Anime & Manga, ASTRO BOY first came to America in the early '60s as an English-dubbed B/W cartoon to the delight of millions of Baby-boomers.

The gentle creation of Osamu Tezuka, "The Mighty Atomo" is part of the foundation of our course.
