"Cartoon Laureate & One-Man Comi-Con"

webx newsig

There seems to be a 30 year lag in these sorts of things. It was in the '90s that "Thirty-Something" yuppies beatified their childhoods as "The Wonder Years". Now there is a Renaissance of 8-bit video game art from the '80s. The Smithsonian even created an entire exhibit around it. I am proud to not only be a member of the original Intellivision design team known as "The Blue Sky Rangers" who have several games in that exhibition but as an early adopter of anything that pushed a pixel in the dark ages before the first Mac took the world by storm. Before "Shatter", by Peter Gillis and illustrated on the computer by Mike Saenz - before DC's "Batman/Digital Justice", there was "ANOMALIES".
And it was done on an IBM PC with a Koala Pad!
